PRIVACY POLICY

Your data belongs to you. Here is exactly what we do with it.

Anonymous readings are never stored

You can use every free tool on Amara without an account. When you do, the details you enter — your name, birth date, birth time, birth place — are used once, in the moment, to write your reading. They are not saved to any database. Close the tab and they are gone.

AI processing

Your reading is written by Claude, an AI model made by Anthropic. To write it, the details you enter are sent securely to Anthropic's API and processed under their commercial terms, which do not allow your data to be used to train their models. What comes back is your reading — nothing else is kept.

If you create an account

An account is optional. It exists only so you can save readings, share them, or subscribe to Amara+. If you create one, we store your email address and the readings you choose to save. They are kept in a database (hosted by Supabase) that only you can access through your login. You can delete your saved readings at any time from your account page.

Payments

Amara+ subscriptions are processed by Stripe. Your card details go to Stripe directly — they never touch Amara's servers. We only receive confirmation that a subscription is active.

No trackers, no selling, no ads

There are no advertising trackers on this site. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with anyone. We do not send marketing emails unless you explicitly ask for them. The only cookie Amara sets is a session cookie when you log in — that is what keeps you logged in.

The services we rely on

Amara runs on a small set of services, each receiving only what it needs to do its job: Anthropic (writes the readings), Supabase (stores accounts, only if you create one), Stripe (payments), Formspree (delivers contact form messages and emailed readings), and Vercel (hosts the website).

Deleting your data

If you have an account and want it gone — the account, the saved readings, the email address, all of it — reach out through the contact page and it will be deleted. No questions, no retention tricks.

Questions

If anything here is unclear, ask. The contact page reaches a person, not a queue.
